For pre-dinner cocktails, you can head to the Mariner Lounge—chic and dimly-lit with a pianist performing soothing music. The Connoisseur Club is an old school lounge to have a cigar or a smoke. It’s a relaxed space, and you can lounge by the poolside with a beer or cocktail in hand. For non-drinkers, there are mocktails on the menu and bartenders can also whip up ice slushies or smoothies. The Mariner set sail in 2001 as the world’s first all-suite, all balcony ship.
We were also booked Istanbul to Dubai on Nov. 10
My wife and I booked a cruise and she later became pregnant. Regent refuses to allow her to embark since she will be 24 weeks pregnant. They also refuse to provide a refund or any kind of travel credits for a future cruise. It is shameful behavior that unfortunately will likely end up in small claims court. I would be very careful before dealing with this company.

10 of 335 Regent Seven Seas Caribbean Cruise Reviews
I do take notes each day so I can have a fairly comprehensive summary when we are home. I posted a review of our first Regent cruise (on Voyager) and I think it was a positive review. The analyses and opinions on our site are our own and our editors and staff writers are instructed to maintain editorial integrity. Our review after sailing with Regent Seven Seas Cruises aboard the Splendor.
Review: Regent Seven Seas Explorer
The ship’s 10 suite categories are decorated in rich brown and Champagne hues and feature plush fabrics, soft leather, and elegant marble. Regent Seven Seas Cruises offers sightseeing excursions to nearly 350 ports, all-suite accommodations, personalized service, gourmet cuisines, unlimited wines and premium spirits. The company maintains 4 cruise ships visits up to 350 destinations worldwide.
All take no give service
Stumbled upon @vitacura’s wonderful live review, of which I’ve clung to every word and photo, and was hooked. Bottom line, I would never let a stack of reviews substitute for forming my own opinion. I like to take in a lot of information when researching travel, but take it at all at face value.
The luxury cruise line's sixth ship, the Seven Seas Grandeur, set sail for its inaugural season at the end of 2024. The ship was named one of T+L's best places to travel in 2024, and I was on board the ship’s three-night christening sailing for a first look inside the stunning new vessel. Speaking of amenities, make sure you understand what you'll get as part of your fare and which extras will come with an additional cost. For example, most cruises offer drink packages for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, but a few have drink stations where you can get complimentary lemonade, coffee and tea. Other amenities that might be important to you are Wi-Fi, spa services, babysitting, fitness classes, and upgraded dining experiences. You can usually get a decent discount if you sign up for an amenities package before you sail, so keep an eye out for promotions in the months leading up to your sailing.

The space is at capacity for seating, so it's not possible to add more. But it's clear the cafe is more popular than its seating area can handle. Although most of the ship's public areas seemed like they would be the correct size in proportion to the size of the vessel, I found that a couple had insufficient space. As someone who's always looking for a chance to escape the frenetic pace of life ashore, I cannot stress enough how much I appreciated a couple of onboard quiet spaces that afforded me a place to read that wasn't my cabin.
Drinks just keep on being poured, without anyone even having to ask. There is no class system onboard; everyone is treated the same, everyone has access to the same facilities and the same restaurants (though top suite classes have priority for multiple specialty restaurant reservations). Our first foray into cruising so took advice to get what I understood to be a Tier 1 cruise line - who provide “unlimited shore excursions”.
The entertainment
There is an assortment of dishes available (including regional specials) and an open deck in the back lets guests enjoy their meals with views. La Veranda turns into Sette Mari in the evenings with a buffet and live stations. It serves Italian specials, including antipasti, fresh pizzas, pasta, and salads, all paired with Italian wines. There are no staterooms for solo travelers and no interconnected rooms for families. But bigger groups can book the 2,000-square-foot Master Suite that features two bedrooms, two balconies, two-and-a-half baths, and a living room.
We also ensure all reviews are published without moderation. We use dedicated people and clever technology to safeguard our platform. The price to book a Regent cruise is the same booking directly with the cruise line or booking with Roaming Boomers Travel Services. If you are a 5-star luxury traveler, you are certain to love Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

On Grandeur, 373 guest accommodations range from the entry-level Veranda Suites to the one-of-a-kind, 4,443-square-foot Regent Suite. Deluxe Veranda and Veranda Suites offer up to 361 square feet of space, outfitted with upscale finishes and, of course, their own balconies. I stayed in a Concierge Suite, of which there are 140 on board. With a super-comfortable Elite Slumber bed facing the balcony, a very spacious walk-in closet, and a bathroom with two sinks, a shower, and a separate tub, this suite offered plenty of storage and lots of room to spread out. Most shore excursions (90 percent, according to Regent) are included in your fare as well.
The line offers a range of gourmet restaurants, from classic steakhouse fare to Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. While some dining is open seating and others are reservation-required, all options are included as part of your fare. We have travelled with Regent SSC on a number of previous occasions and have always enjoyed every minute. However during our recent trip around New Zealand and Australia we decided to book another package to Japan in 2025.
These aren't simply bare-bones tours; some include experiences like biking, wine tastings and visits to museums. A handful of paid excursions offer higher-end experiences, including special instruction, gourmet meals or premium wine-tasting. In locations where the port is away from the city center, free shuttles are usually provided. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is known for its exceptional dining options.
Jeans aren't allowed in restaurants or lounges in the evenings. There are many different cruise lines to choose from, and each one offers a different type of experience. Some are geared towards families, while others are more focused on luxury or adventure. Do you need a wide range of activities to keep the kiddos happy while the adults live it up or relax? The onboard activities and amenities can really make or break your vacation, so be sure you know what you're getting. In summary, Regent Seven Seas Cruises is a luxury cruise line that offers all-inclusive sailings to some of the most desirable destinations in the world.
Cruises also include economy-class airfare for domestic flights and business-class airfare for intercontinental flights for U.S. passengers. The Splendor features 373 all-balcony suites ranging from 307 to 4,443 square feet. And, as Regent proudly proclaims, every luxury is included, from business-class round-trip international airline tickets to shore excursions, specialty restaurants, gratuities, laundry, all onboard alcohol, Wi-Fi, and more. In fact, it is pretty hard to spend a dime on a Regent cruise. The all-suite Seven Seas Splendor doesn’t skimp when it comes to creating enviable accommodations.
There was enough time in the day at port to soak up the gorgeous white-sand beaches, have a tour through the tropical forests, and sample local ceviche. Evenings start with live music and canapés at Horizon Lounge, which has gorgeous views of the waters. Watch the sunset with specially-crafted cocktails at the Observation lounge, which is located on the top deck and has unbeatable views from the front of the ship.
